Job summary

Zero Motorcycles is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead global revenue accounting operations from Noord-Scharwoude and/or Amsterdam. You will own end-to-end revenue processes, from client orders to monthly close, working with a largely outsourced team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

You will collaborate with executive leadership, sales, and FP&A across time zones, ensuring US GAAP compliance, ASC 606, and SAP-based revenue management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a team-lead capacity.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO or relevant revenue modules).
• Experience with outsourced or offshore accounting teams.
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Experience in a global, matrixed organization across time zones.
• Exposure to high-growth multinational or automotive/manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close across multi-currency environments.
• Manage and oversee a team of accountants, including task allocation, training, and performance management.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue schedules.
• Maintain and improve revenue recognition processes in SAP (S/4Hana).
• Support collections and liquidity reporting.
• Prepare documentation for audits and respond to inquiries.
