Job summary

Robin Radar seeks an S&S Service Engineer in the Netherlands to install, configure and maintain our radar systems at customer sites worldwide. You will perform on-site installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting to keep operations safe and productive.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical expertise, strong customer communication, and the ability to manage subcontractors while traveling up to 55% of the time.

Qualifications

• BA or MBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Dutch/EU national with excellent Dutch skills (C1+ level).
• Over 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electromechanics, system installation, maintenance, or repair roles.
• Valid driver's license (B category); trailer license (BE) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software systems with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• System Installation & Configuration - Install and configure radar systems for customers worldwide, perform on-site testing and initial calibration.
• Preventive Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and repair or replace faulty components.
• Service Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed service reports and provide feedback to engineering for improvement.
• Sub-contractor Management & Compliance - Manage subcontractors on location and ensure compliance with contracts, warranties, and quality standards.
