Job summary

Robin Radar in the Netherlands is seeking an Assembly Mechanic to build high-tech radar systems from electronic components, wiring, and sub-assemblies. You will follow electrical diagrams, load software onto servers, and collaborate with Production, Engineering and Warehouse teams to ensure reliable hardware and software integration.

We value a methodical, detail-oriented, and proactive team player who can work independently and travel for radar testing when required.

Qualifications

BA (MBO) degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
3+ years of experience in high-tech assembly roles.
Fluency in English and Dutch.
Methodical and precise with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to travel for radar testing as needed.
Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and background check required.

Responsibilities

Radar assembly and wiring: build complex radar systems by connecting electronic components and sub-assemblies.
Diagrams and paperwork: follow electrical diagrams and maintain logs with accuracy.
Software and integration: load software onto servers inside radar systems and ensure hardware/software coordination.
Troubleshooting and fixes: spot faults early and drive quick diagnostic checks.
Testing support and driving: assist in system tests at external locations and operate a forklift when needed.
