Job summary

Royal Zeelandia Group in the Netherlands is seeking a Group Quality Specialist to harmonize food safety and quality processes across Europe. You will translate best practices into practical group-wide standards and support local operations in day-to-day quality improvements.

You will connect with QA teams across countries, manage supplier quality, and contribute to the development of quality systems. English fluency, willingness to travel, and regular on-site presence in Zierikzee are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality Management or related field.
• Experience in Food Safety and/or Quality; food production experience is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of HACCP and FSSC 22000; allergen management is a plus.
• Experience with supplier audits and implementing quality systems, processes or software applications.
• Strong communicator and networker who builds relationships and supports new ideas.
• Able to engage international stakeholders and work across countries, cultures and perspectives.
• Fluent in English; willing to travel internationally and onsite from Zierikzee.
• Proactive, analytical, structured, pragmatic, hands-on, result-oriented and able to manage projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Harmonize Food Safety & Quality processes across Zeelandia by identifying best practices and translating them into group-wide standards.
• Develop processes and tools for key quality topics including allergen management and quality control.
• Connect with QA teams across Europe to share knowledge and support implementation of standards.
• Support development and implementation of quality systems and applications for day-to-day practice.
• Monitor quality performance, trends and complaints and translate insights into improvements.
• Strengthen Supplier Quality Management through supplier qualification and audits.
• Work within the Corporate QESHR team and report to the Group QA/QC Manager.
