Job summary

Enza Zaden is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the highest standards for vegetable seed production processes globally. You will report to the Global Manager Quality Assurance and drive certification, compliance and product excellence across the organization.

You will lead audits, improve processes, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategy, while mentoring a team and collaborating with stakeholders worldwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quality or process management, plant sciences, microbiology, chemistry or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience, including 6 years in a managerial role, preferably within quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance, QMS principles and tools.
• Industry-specific certification experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire your team while fostering a culture of quality excellence across the organization.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Assurance program with key stakeholders.
• Optimize the QMS (document, audit, incident, and risk management) to strengthen consistency and standardization.
• Plan and manage internal and external audits; act as the primary contact for auditors; ensure follow-up of non-conformities (RCA & CAPA).
• Simplify and improve processes by harmonizing and standardizing ways of working.
• Train and coach colleagues to strengthen quality awareness and share best practices.
• Lead or contribute to QA projects, incident and complaint investigations, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
