Job summary

FGS Global is seeking an Associate Global Public Affairs for our The Hague office. You will join a small team to work on diverse issues in politics, policy, media, and society, supporting clients with analyses, strategies, and stakeholder engagement.

You will collaborate with peers to monitor developments, map stakeholders, and craft communications across Dutch and English contexts, with German or French as a plus. A one-year contract with potential permanent placement is offered.

Qualifications

• Analytical ability to quickly process information and explain complex subjects.
• Planning and organizing to structure information flows and meetings.
• Initiative to act independently and explore new topics and people.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in Dutch and English; German or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze political and social developments relevant to clients.
• Map stakeholders and networks for campaigns and advisory work.
• Conduct analyses and prepare client-ready advice and memos.
• Contribute to public affairs strategies, campaigns, and stakeholder approaches.
• Prepare for discussions, visits, and meetings with clients and officials.
• Create memos, presentations, and other communication materials.
• Support client teams with contacts in politics, government, media, and business.
• Build and nurture networks in politics, government, media, and industry.
