Job summary

Hitachi Energy The Netherlands B.V. in Rotterdam is seeking a Project Supply Chain Professional to drive procurement and bid management across the full project lifecycle.

You will ensure compliant purchasing processes, strong supplier performance, and competitive commercial results in a dynamic, international setting. Collaborating with engineering, tender teams, legal, cost control and project management, you will maximize value while mitigating risks, building robust contracts and delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 3 years in technical procurement, contract management, or bid administration.
• Fluent in Dutch and strong English.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing complex contracts.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, contract law and risk management.
• Experience with procurement software and MS Office.
• Able to work independently and in teams in a fast-changing environment.
• Procurement or Contract Management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead procurement and bidding processes from initiation to submission with tender engineers.
• Draft, evaluate, negotiate and manage RFQs, purchase orders and statements of work.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tender, Cost Control, project teams and SCM to translate needs into contracts and mitigate risks.
• Monitor contract performance and guide resolution of disputes.
• Develop and implement best practices, policies, and procedures for procurement efficiency and compliance.
• Perform market research and supplier analyses to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy policies and ethics.
