Job summary

Key Quantum International (KQi) in the Netherlands seeks an experienced Project Controls Consultant to oversee schedules, cost and performance on large international construction and engineering projects. You will support tendering, contract administration, change management and claims with rigorous schedule analysis.

You will interact with contract and commercial teams, apply forensic delay analysis, and ensure alignment with evolving procurement strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years in project controls, planning and scheduling in construction/engineering, preferably CAPEX projects.
• Proven experience in delay analysis and familiarity with international standards (SCL/AACE).
• Strong understanding of tendering, procurement, contract formation, variations, claims and commercial management.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Fluency in business English; Dutch knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, review and manage complex project schedules for large international projects.
• Review contractor programs for sequencing, resources and milestones.
• Provide planning input during tendering and contract formation.
• Perform forensic delay analyses to support EOT claims and disputes.
• Monitor critical path, identify variances and advise on mitigation.
• Assess change orders for time and cost impacts with commercial teams.
• Support contract administration, early warnings, and claims assessments.
• Generate executive controls reports and dashboards for clients and stakeholders.
