Job summary

Improven is seeking a senior project controller for an interim management assignment in Finance. You will work on a client delivering technical infrastructure projects and collaborate with other market parties.

You join an enthusiastic project team, reporting to the project director and financial manager, and will work with colleagues active in joint ventures. Availability for an initial 6 months with potential extension is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed academic degree in Finance, Control, Business Administration or similar.
• Preferably supplemented by RC, CMA or similar advanced training.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in project control within large infrastructure or industrial CAPEX projects (>€100M).
• Demonstrated experience with joint ventures and complex consortia.
• Extensive experience in financial risk management, both in project development and execution.

Job description

For this interim management assignment in Finance, you will work as a senior project controller for a client delivering technical infrastructure projects in collaboration with other market parties.

About the client

Our client realises technical infrastructure projects. It does this together with other parties in the market.

About the Department

You will join an enthusiastic project team, working closely with the project director and the financial manager. You fall hierarchically under the client's business control manager. You also work closely with colleagues who are active in the joint ventures.

About the Mission

The main areas of focus in this assignment are:

• Forecasting and budget management
• Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to detect deviations early on
• Translate progress into cash flow forecasts and project results.

What are you bringing?
