The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking a Community & Events Programme Intern for Northern Europe. This 6–7 month, in-person internship starts February 2027 and will be based at our Amsterdam HQ.

You will support the Membership team, coordinate with Event & Community Managers, and help drive the events strategy across The Netherlands. You will work 40 hours per week, with opportunities to engage with a global network of stakeholders and gain hands-on experience in hospitality and project

Formación

• Enrolled in University or University of Applied Sciences (WO/HBO).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Legally permitted to work and live in the Netherlands; available for a full-time internship (40 hours/week).
• Able to work from Amsterdam Support Hub; willing to travel within the Netherlands; in-person role.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite and understanding of event management processes.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with interest in project management.
• Passion for hospitality; good problem-solving and independent work.

Responsabilidades

• Connect on-site Event, Community Managers, and Regional Programming Managers; serve as first contact for questions and event requests.
• Attend community events and activations across The Netherlands; audit execution and provide bi-monthly insights to Regional Programming Manager.
• Support the curation of events strategy and ambassador programme.
• Support the Membership team by tracking deadlines, taking notes, and producing monthly event reports and highlights.
• Research market offerings and competitor propositions.
• Assist with development, communication and refinement of projects related to events and memberships.
