Job summary

Van Hessen, part of the SARIA Group, is seeking an Account Manager Petfood to maintain and grow commercial relationships in the international petfood market. You will analyze market opportunities, conduct commercial discussions, and work closely with colleagues nationally and internationally.

We welcome candidates with HBO education and strong English skills; knowledge of Dutch or German is a plus, and willingness to travel internationally is expected.

Qualifications

• HBO level of working and thinking.
• Affinity with food, agribusiness, or the petfood sector.
• Proficiency in English is required; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Interest in digital development and AI in commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Identify market developments and commercial opportunities.
• Prepare for and conduct negotiations on purchasing and sales activities.
• Draft and manage commercial agreements and contracts.
• Analyze market, pricing, and margin data.
• Visit customers, suppliers, and international trade fairs.
• Collaborate with internal departments and international colleagues to achieve objectives.
