Job summary

Van Oord in the Netherlands seeks a Workforce Administration Specialist to manage payroll data across international projects and fleet operations, ensuring accurate, timely processing. You will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Global Mobility and project teams, handle international tax matters, and work with GRIP, Workday and AFAS systems to maintain data integrity and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Have several years of experience in payroll administration and/or knowledge of tax legislation.
• Have affinity with international payroll challenges and workforce mobility
• Have experience with or knowledge of systems such as GRIP, Workday, pre payroll tools and AFAS
• Understand how systems and interfaces work together within payroll processes
• Work in a structured way and are strong in analysing data and processes
• Have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with different departments
• Have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written

Responsibilities

• You ensure thousands of employees worldwide are correctly processed within the Dutch payroll.
• You analyse complex payroll and tax related matters and ensure data is accurately processed across different systems.
• You safeguard data quality and actively contribute to process improvements.
• Align fiscal assessments with Global Mobility, Fiscal Affairs and project controllers
• Ensure accurate processing of international assignments and related employment conditions
• Work with multiple payroll and HR systems where accuracy and process understanding are essential
• Contribute to the further professionalisation of the team and collaboration within the HR domain
