Job summary

ALTEN is seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist in Eindhoven to ensure high-availability global network performance. You will monitor, optimize, and lead complex changes across international sites, coordinating with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.

The role offers a permanent contract with hybrid working, a lease car, net expense allowance, and 27 vacation days. Your strong routing, switching, WAN/LAN, VPN and firewall skills, plus cloud networking experience, will drive resilient

Qualifications

Experience managing enterprise-level networks globally.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, WAN/LAN, VPN, firewalls.
Experience handling complex changes and high-impact incidents.
Cloud networking experience a plus (Azure/AWS).

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage global network infrastructure performance and availability.
Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve network performance bottlenecks.
Ensure high availability and reliability across all sites and locations.
Lead the execution of complex network changes, upgrades, and migrations.
Take ownership during critical incidents, coordinating resolution efforts and ensuring minimal business impact.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to maintain a secure and resilient network environment.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
