Job summary

Royal IHC is seeking a Commissioning Team Lead to take full ownership of commissioning activities for newly built dredging and offshore vessels at international shipyards. You will act as the on-site technical authority, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure all systems are tested, validated and delivered safely.

Qualifications

• Degree in shipbuilding, marine or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with offshore and/or dredging vessels preferred.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing and able to travel internationally for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site technical representative at international shipyards.
• Prepare, coordinate and execute commissioning activities for all vessel systems.
• Lead subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring tests and handover meet requirements.
• Develop detailed commissioning plans with the project planner.
• Ensure work complies with safety, quality and schedule targets.
