Job summary

IHC Holland B.V. is seeking a Commissioning Team Lead to oversee complex commissioning operations for newly built dredging and offshore vessels at international shipyards. The ideal candidate will prepare and coordinate technical commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications.

A degree in shipbuilding or related field is required, along with experience in offshore or dredging vessels. The role offers an attractive salary package with various benefits including vacation days and a solid pension plan.

Qualifications

• Degree in shipbuilding, marine engineering, mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Experience with offshore and/or dredging vessels is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Willing and able to travel internationally for longer periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for all technical systems onboard the vessels.
• Act as Royal IHC’s technical representative at international shipyards.
• Analyze technical specifications, ITPs, drawings, manuals, and test protocols.
• Develop detailed commissioning plans together with the project planner.
• Supervise and guide commissioning activities executed by subcontractors and suppliers.
• Perform commissioning activities according to customer requirements, specifications, quality standards, and planning.
