Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking a Service & Commissioning Engineer to perform commissioning, service and maintenance on electrical installations aboard vessels worldwide.

You will work on battery systems, hybrid installations and propulsion systems, troubleshooting and testing to ensure optimal performance. The role requires a college degree in Electrical Installations, several years in maritime settings, knowledge of automation and high-voltage systems, and willingness to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• Completed college degree in Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in a similar maritime role.
• Basic knowledge of automation and high-voltage systems.
• Knowledge of standards, safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Good command of the English language.
• Willingness to travel internationally and driver's license B.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform commissioning activities on new installations.
• Carry out service and maintenance on existing installations.
• Diagnose and resolve faults in sensors, cabling and control cabinets.
• Test installations and systems for proper functionality.
• Analyze root causes of failures and implement technical improvements.
• Prepare service reports after completed work.
• Travel internationally to support clients on-site.
