Job summary

ING is seeking a Product Manager for mandate management services within Global Customer Data in Amsterdam. You will lead a multidisciplinary feature squad to translate strategy into scalable APIs and services used across ING's channels.

You will shape roadmaps, drive delivery from discovery to adoption, and align diverse squads with business and customer needs. Fluency in English and a proactive, analytical mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
• Relevant experience in product management, change management, software development, business analysis, and/or consultancy.
• A sharp analytical mind and the energy to master a complex product and technology landscape quickly.
• A proactive, outcome-driven approach: you spot what matters, create structure, and turn it into action.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and bring people together across stakeholders.
• Experience working with application development teams and customer journey experts.
• Clear, concise communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Mandate management expertise is appreciated, yet curiosity and AI-driven mindset matter more.
• Curiosity to adopt AI in working processes to accelerate outcomes.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product definition and translate it into a focused, outcome-driven roadmap.
• Drive delivery from discovery and design through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Bring cross-functional squads, platform squads, customer journey experts, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders together around shared outcomes.
• Navigate dependencies, risks, and competing priorities while maintaining pace and focus.
• Create clarity and momentum through effective decision-making and transparent communication.
• Use data for measurable outcomes and steer the product forward, including AI adoption.
