Job summary

Adams Multilingual Recruitment is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for a 6-month assignment. You will own international inbound/outbound transportation across the Netherlands and Singapore distribution centres, coordinating drop shipments to EMEA customers and driving efficiency across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a freight forwarding or logistics role.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Solid understanding of transportation regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping practices; experience with the Middle East market is a plus.
• Familiarity with e-commerce fulfilment operations and transportation models.
• Proficiency with Oracle ERP or a comparable ERP system.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Up).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented working style.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously, including at quarter-end when workload peaks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with external partners, drop-ship vendors, and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the transportation of goods via road, ocean, and air with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Manage daily oversight of unshipped and pending orders with the Order Fulfilment team.
• Assist with shipping coordination from vendors and support drop-shipment processes to EMEA customers.
• Extract and manage tracking information from carrier platforms and establish data mining and analysis processes.
• Analyse transportation routes to reduce lead times and costs while improving efficiency.
• Identify transportation risks and communicate with stakeholders.
• Coordinate pre-shipment inspections to meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Handle Letters of Credit documentation and negotiation with international partners.
• Maintain communication with Sales, Order Management, Order Fulfilment, Operations, PLM, and Supply Chain.
• Support integration of newly acquired operations into the supply chain.
