Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively partnering with a leading global FMCG organization to recruit a commercially driven Global Category Lead for the Global Procurement function based in Amsterdam.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will develop and deliver the Digital & Technology Procurement strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to drive value, optimize supplier performance and deliver commercial savings.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in IT, Digital or Technology procurement, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.
• Experience managing strategic supplier relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Structured, organized approach with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will play a key role in developing and delivering the Digital & Technology Procurement strategy. You will partner with senior stakeholders across the business to drive value, optimize supplier performance, and deliver commercial savings

Working with global technology partners such as Microsoft, SAP, and Accenture, you will also lead strategic sourcing activities, negotiate complex commercial agreements, and build long-term supplier relationships that support business objectives

Key Responsibilities of the Global Category Lead:

• Lead strategic sourcing and supplier selection activities
• Negotiate high-value technology and software contracts
• Manage relationships with key global technology suppliers

Candidate prof ile:

• Significant experience in IT, Digital or Technology Procurement, ideally from an FMCG environment
• Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills
• Experience managing strategic supplier relationships
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing abilities
• A structured, organized approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with a focus on delivering business value
