Van Oord seeks a Category Manager IT to shape the IT procurement strategy and coordinate with fellow Category Managers in this domain. You will engage stakeholders from IT, HR, Finance, SMD, and ET&E to translate needs into effective procurement solutions and stay aligned with market developments.

You will negotiate as a trusted advisor for the IT category, drive value, and contribute to risk reduction in the supply chain, while developing solutions that support the organisation’s future

Qualifications

• BSc degree required or preferred in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of hands-on category management experience.
• Experience sourcing IT hardware, software and IT services is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the IT category strategy.
• Lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships.
• Support RFPs and contracting with a value/risk focus.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, and more.
• Share knowledge with the procurement team to improve cross-functional outcomes.
