Job summary
Johnson & Johnson Vision Groningen is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Introduction of intraocular lenses. You will lead end-to-end NPI projects, coordinate virtual teams across time zones, and ensure Design Control, Risk Management, and regulatory readiness throughout development and market introduction.
You will collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver cutting-edge ophthalmic products while navigating GMP and ISO requirements, with on-site work in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, life sciences, physics, optics or a related technical field.
- 5–10 years of project management experience in a regulated, technology-driven setting.
- Proven track record in medical device NPI projects, preferably ophthalmic.
- Experience leading global, virtual teams across time zones and strong GMP/QSR knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end NPI projects for intraocular lenses, including plans, schedules, budgets, and resource planning.
- Lead virtual, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
- Ensure compliance with Design Control, Risk Management, and Change Management.
- Oversee creation, maintenance and approval of project documentation.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, QSR, ISO 13485 and internal procedures.
- Support regulatory submissions with Regulatory Affairs and Quality; communicate with global stakeholders.
