Job summary

VAT Group in the Netherlands is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth and deliver excellent customer experiences within an assigned territory. You will be the main link between customers, Sales, and internal support, coordinating and converting opportunities into orders.

The role requires 3+ years in related sales/CS roles, strong CRM/ERP experience, and fluent English; knowledge of German or French is a plus.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Technical Sales, Customer Service, or Commercial Operations within an industrial/B2B environment.
Experience with CRM and ERP systems, such as D365, Salesforce, or SAP.
Fluent English required; German highly desirable and French considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

Manage customer inquiries, RFQs, and commercial activities for assigned B accounts.
Create, manage, and follow up quotations to maximize conversion into customer orders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
Understand customer requirements and coordinate with Product Management, FAE, Operations, and other functions to provide suitable solutions.
Manage opportunities and customer activities in D365 CRM, ensuring accurate data and timely follow-up.
Support Sales Managers with transactional business, customer activities, and advancement of sales opportunities.
Monitor the sales pipeline and proactively follow up on quotations, opportunities, and customer actions.
Coordinate the resolution of customer issues, delivery concerns, and commercial escalations.
Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, CRM data quality, digital tools, and customer experience.
