Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced Import & Export Coordinator to join a dynamic international logistics environment in Rotterdam. You will independently manage end-to-end import and export operations, coordinating with carriers, customs authorities, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.

The role requires hands-on freight forwarding knowledge across Ocean, Air, and Road Freight, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Import & Export Operations or Freight Forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and/or Road Freight processes.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, shipping companies, or international trading organizations.
• Ability to independently manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Dutch language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end import and export shipments.
• Handle international freight movements across Ocean, Air, and/or Road Freight.
• Prepare and process shipping, customs, and transport documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Liaise with carriers, customs authorities, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment execution.
• Monitor shipments, resolve operational issues, and maintain high service levels.
• Take ownership of logistics processes and continuously identify improvement opportunities.
