Job summary

Advance Consulting is seeking an Impact Investment Advisor based in the Netherlands to join its Impact Investment Advisory practice. You will work on investment readiness, capital raising, and transaction advisory for SMEs across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East, reporting to the Head of Impact Investment Advisory.

The role blends financial analysis, client advisory, and close collaboration with investors, project developers, and funds, with travel to Africa and Asia as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, (international) business, economics or related discipline.
• CFA or equivalent professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, including Africa/Asia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements and conduct market, sector and company research to inform investment decisions and fund strategies.
• Prepare, analyse, structure and/or execute transactions in equity, debt or blended products for SMEs.
• Produce high-quality deliverables such as financial models, investment memoranda, pitch decks, and reports.
• Participate in investor calls, negotiations, and due diligence processes.
• Conduct in-market fieldwork including site visits and management interviews.
