Job summary

Van Hessen is seeking an HR Director to lead the people strategy globally. You will partner with the COO and senior leaders to shape a high-performing organisation across regions and cultures.

Responsibilities include developing and executing the global HR strategy, organisational design, talent development, and driving engagement and change management. Fluency in English is essential; Dutch and other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.
• Proven experience in an HR leadership role within a complex international manufacturing environment.
• Fluent English; Dutch and other languages advantageous.
• Experience with HR transformation and enterprise HR systems (Workday) preferred.
• Experience across multiple geographies and cultures; strong executive influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the global HR strategy aligned with business goals.
• Partner with COO and leadership to shape a high-performing organisation.
• Lead organisational design, workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
• Build a high-performing global HR function and leadership team.
• Drive employee engagement, leadership capability and culture across regions.
• Lead change management, transformation programmes and post-merger integration.
• Champion data-driven HR metrics, analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with SARIA's HR community to implement best practices.
