Job summary

MVSA Architects, based in Amsterdam, is seeking an accomplished business development leader to drive international growth and strengthen client relationships with developers, investors, and public stakeholders.

You will define and implement a clear commercial strategy, coordinate tenders and partnerships, and represent the firm at international events, working closely with the board, design teams, and marketing to elevate MVSA’s global position.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of proven experience in business development.
• Demonstrated success in international business growth and client relationship management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Passion for architecture, design, and innovation.
• Ability to translate creative vision into commercial success.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and/or other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the business development team; define and implement a clear commercial strategy.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with current clients, developers, investors, and public stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, with a strong focus on international markets.
• Develop and execute strategic market expansion plans in line with MVSA’s vision.
• Coordinate tenders, pitches, and strategic collaborations with (international) partners.
• Represent MVSA Architects at international events, conferences, and networking forums.
• Work closely with the board, design teams, and marketing to enhance the firm’s global positioning.
