Job summary

NOWN is seeking a Director of Architectural Product Development in Amsterdam to lead design- and engineering-driven product creation, bridging marketing, finance, manufacturing, and strategy. The role emphasizes sustainability and industry standards, with hands-on implementation for fabrication and electrical integration.

The ideal candidate combines strong design sensibilities with rational, mechanical thinking and industry insight to deliver scalable architectural solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have portfolio.
• Must be willing to work 40 hours/week at our HQ in Amsterdam.
• Must have experience successfully taking products to market.
• Must have the ability to read, speak, and write with art and precision.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and systems for mass production or mass customization.
• Develop marketing and compliance collateral necessary for taking products to market.
