Job summary

EY in Amsterdam–Zuidas is seeking a Manager Global Business Services Continuous Improvement to advise clients on CI of GBS operations, lead project workstreams and build practical recommendations that improve efficiency, quality and cost-to-serve.

You will develop governance, tools and capabilities, apply Lean, Six Sigma and process mining, and collaborate with global process owners to deliver measurable benefits while ensuring sustained improvements beyond the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; certifications in Lean Six Sigma, PMP or Agile are advantageous.
• 5+ years of consulting, advisory, CI, or transformation experience in GBS/shared services.
• Strong understanding of GBS models and end-to-end processes.
• Experience guiding client-facing projects and delivering stakeholder-ready materials.
• Proficiency in data analysis to translate insights into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams within CI engagements, managing scope, deliverables, timelines and quality.
• Advise on CI operating models, governance, and performance management.
• Identify improvement opportunities and shape value-led recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and plan delivery.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, value mapping, IPA and RCA to diagnose issues.
• Develop client-ready materials including roadmaps, business cases, benefits tracking.
• Facilitate workshops to align priorities and future-state processes.
• Identify automation opportunities using process mining, RPA, AI; leverage ERP.
• Support implementation and capability building for sustained improvements.
• Act as trusted advisor on priorities, risks, and value realization.
