Job summary

GLS Group in Amsterdam seeks a Group Fulfilment Operations & Technology Manager to drive scalable fulfilment across Europe and North America. You will blend operations, technology and business growth to design market-ready solutions, optimize networks and lead AI-enabled improvements.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong project management and the ability to travel Europe 30–40% while partnering with country leadership teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in fulfilment, e‑commerce logistics or related fields.
• Strong fulfilment operations expertise and experience in operational transformation.
• Experience implementing and scaling fulfilment technology platforms (WMS/OMS) across locations.
• Proven project and implementation management skills across stakeholders and markets.
• Analytical, commercial and financial understanding linked to customer value.

Responsibilities

• Support new market activations with business case design and go-live delivery.
• Design and standardize scalable fulfilment solutions across GLS markets.
• Improve productivity, quality, stock accuracy and capacity utilization.
• Lead fulfilment technology enablement and AI-driven improvements.
• Conduct functional reviews and drive continuous improvement.
• Transfer know-how between markets and ensure consistent best practices.
• Partner with Country Managing Directors and managers on execution.
