Heuschen & Schrouff is seeking an experienced Head of Global Logistics Procurement to lead international freight sourcing, tender management, and contract negotiations across multi-modal transport networks from its base in Landgraaf, Netherlands. The role requires translating market developments into competitive transport rates and strengthening compliance within global supply chains.

Qualifications

• Over ten years of freight sourcing and international tenders in logistics.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of TMS, OMS, 4PL models, EDI and API integrations.
• Proven track record of cost savings and compliance in global supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Lead international tender processes and sourcing projects for global transport flows.
• Select, evaluate and contract Logistics Service Providers.
• Negotiate transport contracts, terms and service agreements.
• Monitor transport market trends, freight indices and procurement opportunities.
• Develop sourcing strategies across multiple transport modalities and networks.
• Analyse transport data and drive continuous improvement.
• Increase transparency and efficiency through data, reporting and systems.
