Job summary

Ad Idem Consulting Limited seeks an experienced Finance Controls Manager for its Global Expansion Unit in Amsterdam. You will implement and oversee financial control frameworks across GEU entities, ensuring policy compliance and robust governance.

You will lead controls and audits, manage month-end close, and partner with treasury and tax. A qualified accountant with strong stakeholder skills is essential; a base salary of €95,000–€105,000 plus bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong technical and commercial finance background.
• Experience in financial control, audit and compliance within multinational or FMCG.
• Strong understanding of distributor markets, ERP systems, and end-to-end finance processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication, ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the GEU controls framework and monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee month-end close and finance operations for GEU entities.
• Support Commercial Policy Framework across distributor audits, stock reporting, and pricing principles.
• Provide monthly controls updates to VP and Leadership Team; liaise with internal/external audits.
• Partner with Group Tax and Treasury; mentor finance staff.
