Job summary

Mpac Langen, based in Wijchen, is seeking a Team Lead Field Service Engineers to lead, coach and develop a global field service team responsible for installation, maintenance and service activities worldwide.

You will drive safety, quality and customer satisfaction, coordinate with planning, project management, engineering, customer support and sales, and mentor engineers to build high-performing teams across international projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level education in Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Automation.
• 5+ years in Field Service Engineering or similar technical service environment.
• Experience leading, mentoring or coaching engineers.
• Strong knowledge of machine building, industrial automation and service operations.
• Experience in international, customer-focused environments.
• Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Field Service Engineers and the Field Service Trainer.
• Drive safety, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction and efficiency.
• Provide guidance on complex technical issues, machine installations and escalations.
• Collaborate with Planning, Project Management, Engineering, Customer Support and Sales to optimise service delivery.
• Manage resource allocation and ensure the right people on the right projects.
• Foster continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities to improve service performance and customer experience.
• Act as escalation point for customers and support the team in delivering exceptional service worldwide.
