Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an experienced Associate Director, External Communications with a strong network in the Netherlands and internationally. You will guide media relations, crisis management, and financial communications, reporting to the Director of External Communications within the Global Communications team.

You will partner with the executive team, develop proactive media strategies, and engage with investors and analysts to support growth and reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or journalism.
• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute external communications and media relations strategies in the Netherlands and globally.
• Advise Executive Team with strategic communications and credibility.
• Create external materials: press releases, statements, media alerts, briefings, FAQs, pitches, blog and social content, bylined articles.
• Build and sustain relationships with national and international media and influencers.
• Coordinate media and analyst engagements for executives and experts.
• Lead earnings-related media engagement and collaborate with Investor Relations.
• Review and govern crisis communications frameworks and incident response materials.
