Job summary

Destinus is seeking a Director of Accounting & Controlling to own the group financial reporting across entities, ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, and drive scalable, audit-ready numbers. You will lead the group close, consolidate multi-currency cells, and partner with FP&A, Tax, and Treasury in a fast-growing aerospace and defence environment.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS and local GAAP knowledge across European jurisdictions.
• Experience owning group close and consolidation processes at scale.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting, WIP, and standard costing.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual group close across all entities.
• Own the group close calendar and drive cross-functional execution.
• Coordinate consolidation adjustments and intercompany eliminations.
• Own internal controls, policies, and their application across the group.
• Drive ERP and finance system improvements, including Dynamics 365, IFRS configurations, and VAT setups.
