Job summary

The Customer Service Representative at IFF in Leiden, Netherlands, will be the main operational interface between customers and internal teams. You will receive, process, and track orders, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues to ensure a high level of service throughout the customer journey.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in Customer Service, Export Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics.
Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP OTC.

Responsibilities

Receive, process, and manage customer orders, inquiries, and complaints.
Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned customers, building strong relationships.
Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless order execution.
Manage customer onboarding activities, including setup and product introductions.
Ensure compliance, data integrity, and documentation for audits; support issue resolution and root-cause analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and KPI-focused projects.
