JD.com is offering a Young JDY internship focused on business analytics, data governance, and process improvement. You’ll work with experienced teams across our global network to deliver hands-on projects, learn core financial metrics, and contribute to real growth opportunities from day one.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in quantitative fields, fluent in English and Chinese, with strong SQL and Excel skills, and a commitment of at least 6 months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Information Management, Business or related quantitative field; final year students expected to graduate in 2026/2027.
• Commitment of at least 6 months for the internship.
• Related experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in e-commerce or tech.
• Strong SQL proficiency and advanced Excel skills.
• Good problem-solving, data analysis, and attention to detail; able to process large data volumes.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic business performance analysis and monitor core financial metrics (revenue, cost, P&L).
• Produce diagnostic reports, identify anomalies, and propose actionable recommendations.
• Develop and map risk assessments and strengthen internal controls through audits.
• Create SOPs, streamline processes, and support cross-department training.
• Design a data monitoring platform and digitize reports to accelerate insights.
