Job summary

JD.com invites you to join the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program in Rotterdam, a 3–6 month hands-on experience designed for early-career talent. You’ll work on real projects, collaborate with experienced teams, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

You’ll focus on product photography, PDP UI/UX optimization, and creating localized visuals for European markets, while ensuring consistency across language versions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in university, or recent graduate, in Photography/Graphic Design/UI/UX/Digital Media.
• Proficient with design tools Photoshop, Lightroom, or Figma; strong composition and lighting.

Responsibilities

• Visual execution: photography and post-processing for e-commerce imagery.
• UI/UX optimization of PDP layouts to improve user interaction and CTR.

About Your Program

You'll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3-6 months, you'll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

What You'll Do

• Visual Execution: Responsible for product photography and post-processing, ensuring all imagery complies with high-standard e-commerce visual specifications.
• UI/UX Optimization: Assist in optimizing the visual layout of Product Detail Pages (PDP) to enhance user interaction experience and click-through conversion rates.
• Localized Creativity: Tailor visual assets for the European markets, collaborating with the team to produce content that aligns with local aesthetic trends.
• Team Collaboration: Liaise with different teams to ensure visual styles remain highly consistent across different language versions.

About You

• Currently enrolled in a university, Bachelor degree or above in Photography, Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or Digital Media.
• Proficient in design tools such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Figma; possess solid capabilities in composition and lighting.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Ability to understand the logic of cross-border team collaboration.
• Keen observation of visual trends within the European e-commerce market.
