Job summary

DSM-Firmenich AG in Maastricht, the Netherlands, seeks a Lead Expert FPA Global Costing to manage Average Costing, COGS visibility, and inventory reporting for month-end close and forecasting. You influence Group transformation projects and harmonize FP&A processes across the organization.

The role requires strong Excel, financial modelling, dashboards, and SAP experience, with 5+ years in finance or supply chain FP&A. Collaboration across SolCo and Business Units is essential.

Qualifications

• Lead the Average Costing process and ensure visibility into COGS and inventory for month-end close and forecasting.
• Act as Group Product Costing expert in Group transformation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and harmonization across Group FP&A and Commercial.
• Support FP&A processes relating to inventory and goods-in-transit.
• Understand implications of perimeter changes on Global FP&A processes and manage holistically.
• Build detailed understanding of costing, consolidation, gross margin reporting and premix processes.
• Maintain regular communication within the Finance community and stakeholders.
• Serve as key contact for testing and implementing UPI-related solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost accounting and provide visibility for month-end close.
• Collaborate with BU Finance, Group FP&A, and Legal Entity Controllers.
• Drive SAP costing configurations and data integrity for global reporting.
• Support transformation programs and harmonization efforts across SolCo.
• Develop dashboards and management reports for decision-making.
