Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Utrecht is looking for a Financial Analyst – Global Product Costing to define and safeguard product costs at SKU level, influence COGS, and forecast costs across commodities and supply chain. You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D, and Commercial teams to translate cost data into actionable insights.

The role requires a Master’s in Finance or related field, 3+ years in FP&A or Product Costing, advanced Excel, SAP experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or a related field.
+3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Product Costing, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Analytical skills with high accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Experience working with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Procurement is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Calculate and maintain accurate standard product costs and COGS at SKU level.
Prepare and analyze cost forecasts based on commodities, conversion, and supply chain costs.
Perform product cost calculations, variance analysis, and reconciliations in SAP.
Analyze cost movements, identify key drivers, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Support New Product Development by delivering timely and accurate cost calculations.
Act as a financial business partner, ensuring cost transparency and decision support across functions.
