MSD, one of the Netherlands' leading industrial pharma companies, invites a Financial Analyst to join the COSI HH Finance team in Haarlem. The role covers end-to-end cost accounting, inventory analysis, and supporting monthly close for multiple branches worldwide.

The successful candidate will manage product cost under US GAAP, analyze production variances, and drive cost-control initiatives while delivering timely data to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's in finance/business/administration/economics.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, preferably in manufacturing/production, analytics or cost accounting.
• Experience with SAP production analysis and in preparing accounts in accordance with US GAAP.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and create product cost under US GAAP rules.
• Control, analyze, and report production results and variances.
• Review and ensure accurate data is reported for monthly product cost and inventory consolidation close.
• Analyze standard revision on a global level and ensure appropriate accounting is performed.
• Identify and work on initiatives to improve cost control and increase efficiency.
• Provide accurate and timely financial cost and inventory data to customers.
• Participate in special and ad hoc projects to support management analysis.
