Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking an experienced Global CAPEX Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and commercial strategy for major global investment projects. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and R&D to shape supplier strategies, challenge specifications, and ensure sourcing decisions reflect technical performance and lifecycle value.

The role requires deep engineering background, strong procurement discipline, and the ability to operate autonomously in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with deep engineering background.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial CAPEX projects.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into sourcing strategies and robust contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and execution for complex, high-value global CAPEX projects from concept to close-out.
• Support regional CAPEX projects with category strategy, supplier intelligence and governance.
• Shape sourcing strategy early in the lifecycle by challenging specifications and identifying value-engineering opportunities.
• Translate technical requirements into robust commercial packages with clear deliverables and milestones.
• Assess suppliers on technical capability, project execution, lifecycle cost and risk, not just price.
• Lead negotiations and contracting covering guarantees, LDs, warranties and payment milestones.
• Maintain a global supplier strategy with preferred panels and framework agreements.
