Job summary

Rosewood Amsterdam is seeking a General Accountant to support day-to-day accounting for the hotel, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

You will work closely with operations, suppliers, auditors, and the Director of Finance to maintain compliance with Dutch accounting and tax rules and to contribute to the hotel's business objectives.

Qualifications

THE TEAM

As part of our Finance team, you will contribute to the financial success of the hotel by maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Working closely with operational departments, Finance colleagues, suppliers, auditors, and external authorities, you will support a broad range of accounting activities that help drive informed decision-making and operational excellence.

Reporting to the Director of Finance Business Partner, you will play an important role in ensuring the integrity of the hotel's financial records, supporting statutory compliance requirements, and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.

YOUR ROLE

As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Through your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills, you will support general accounting activities, accounts payable processes, tax compliance obligations, and month-end closing procedures.

You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy of financial information, ensuring compliance with Dutch accounting and tax requirements, and supporting the achievement of the hotel's business objectives.
