Job summary

IQVIA in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated Data Scientist to join our AI & Data Science Office. You will design and deploy analytics solutions, develop predictive models, and support GenAI applications for healthcare projects in an international environment.

We welcome a Master’s/PhD in a related field, 3+ years of experience, strong Python/SQL skills, Azure cloud experience, and excellent communication in English (German a plus). Join a team advancing data science at scale.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• 3+ years in data science or advanced analytics, or PhD with 1 year experience.
• Strong expertise in statistical and machine learning methods; GenAI experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and ML frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform.
• Excellent communication in a multicultural, cross-functional team.
• Fluency in English; German is a big plus.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical data and market context.

Responsibilities

• Design, development and deployment of analytics solutions using advanced statistics, ML and GenAI.
• Collaborate with business units, software engineering and production teams.
• Support new offerings and ad hoc analyses with statistical methods.
• Support client projects for patient and commercial analytics using ML, causal analysis and GenAI.
