Job summary

ACCA Careers in Amsterdam is seeking a Client Accounting Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting team, ensuring timely outputs and strong controls in line with SLAs. You will oversee NAV calculations for Private Equity and Retail Funds, interact with clients and fund managers, and collaborate with a global team on outsourced activities.

The role requires 5-8 years fund accounting experience, ACA/ACCA/CIMA; Dutch GAAP knowledge; English fluent; Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in a fund accounting team with a proven track record in fund administration.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Strong understanding of Private Equity and Retail Fund structures and their operational requirements.
• Hands-on experience working with Private Equity and Retail Fund Administration systems.
• Proficiency in Dutch GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS being advantageous.
• Fluent in English, with Dutch language skills being an advantage.

Responsibilities

• You'll manage the day-to-day activities of the team in line with internal and external SLA timeframes.
• You'll interact with relevant internal and external stakeholders as required to support fund operations.
• You'll review, understand and discuss fund governing documents with staff and clients.
• You'll oversee the completion of accounting activities and resultant NAV calculations for a portfolio of Private Equity and Retail Funds.
• You'll participate in ad-hoc projects alongside your core responsibilities.
• You'll collaborate as part of a larger global team, particularly for outsourced activities.
