ITproposal B.V. zoekt een ervaren Functioneel Beheerder – Osiris Volg voor een tijdelijke specialistische opdracht in Enschede. • Grondige kennis van Osiris Volg en ervaring met implementaties binnen hoger onderwijs.
• Ervaring met analyseren van functionele processen en vertaling naar systeemsconfiguraties.
• Ervaring met functioneel testen en implementatieactiviteiten.

Responsibilities

• Advies geven over optimale configuratie en toepassingsmogelijkheden van Osiris Volg.
• Vertalen van functionele eisen en onderwijsprocessen naar effectieve systeemconfiguratie.
• Configureer Osiris Volg volgens afgesproken functionele vereisten.
• Analyseer bestaande processen en herken verbeterkansen.
• Ondersteun het implementatieproject en de projectorganisatie gedurende de implementatieperiode.
• Ondersteun en beoordeel functioneel testen.
• Identificeer en los functionele problemen op tijdens testen en implementatie.
• Werk mee aan de go-live-voorbereidingen en geef advies aan stakeholders.
• Documenteer configuratiebeslissingen en overdracht van kennis aan het interne team.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Functional Application Manager / Functioneel Beheerder – Osiris Volg to support the implementation of Osiris, a new student registration, enrolment, and monitoring application.

As an Osiris Volg specialist, you will provide independent expert advice on the configuration and implementation of Osiris Volg and support the implementation project in establishing a functional solution that aligns with the organisation's processes for student guidance and monitoring.

This is a temporary specialist assignment focused specifically on bringing expertise that is currently not available within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist advice on the optimal configuration and application possibilities of Osiris Volg.

• Translate functional requirements and educational processes into an effective system configuration.

• Configure Osiris Volg in accordance with agreed functional requirements.

• Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Support the implementation project and project organisation throughout the implementation phase.

• Support and assess functional testing.

• Identify and resolve functional issues during testing and implementation.

• Support preparations for the go-live of Osiris Volg.

• Advise stakeholders and users on the functionality and application of Osiris Volg.

• Document configuration decisions and relevant processes.

• Transfer knowledge to the internal Functional Application Management team.

• Ensure the internal team is sufficiently prepared to independently manage Osiris Volg after implementation.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

• HBO-level education and working/thinking capacity.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Functional Application Manager, Functional Administrator, or Implementation Specialist for Osiris.

• Thorough and demonstrable knowledge of the Osiris application, specifically Osiris Volg.

• Proven experience implementing Osiris or comparable systems within higher education or educational organisations.

• Experience analysing functional processes and translating them into system configurations.

• Experience with functional testing and implementation activities.

• Strong understanding of student guidance, monitoring, and related educational processes.

• Ability to work independently and provide specialist advice.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Working Arrangement

The role is primarily based in Enschede.

Physical presence is required for coordination with the project organisation and users. The successful candidate is expected to be available at least 2 days per week onsite in Enschede on average.

The remaining hours can be worked remotely where appropriate and compatible with the assignment.

Expected Deliverables

The assignment will be considered successfully completed when:

• The agreed Osiris Volg functionalities have been configured.

• The functionality required for student guidance and monitoring has been implemented.

• Functional testing has been completed.

• The necessary knowledge has been transferred to the internal Functional Application Management team.

• The internal organisation is able to independently continue managing Osiris Volg after the implementation.

Reporting & Collaboration

The specialist will perform the assignment independently and will coordinate progress, planning, deliverables, and any potential issues with the Project Manager responsible for the implementation project.

• This is a temporary specialist assignment related specifically to the implementation phase.

• The organisation currently does not have sufficient in-house expertise regarding the configuration and implementation of Osiris Volg.

• The candidate must have a valid passport or identity card available for verification at the intake and on the contract start date.
