Job summary

Vivid Resourcing seeks a Functional Application Manager to own the daily operations of our Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail environment for a fast-growing international retailer. You will ensure reliability for stores, finance, operations and warehouse, while handling user questions and change requests.

In Digital Enablement, you will manage the backlog, prioritize work, support releases and document solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.
• Affinity with retail, finance, logistics or inventory processes.
• Structured, accurate, and able to set priorities.
• Communicate easily with a customer‑oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support users with functional questions, incidents and change requests.
• Manage backlog, monitor priorities and reports.
• Analyze incidents to determine data/process/config/system causes.
• Make temporary corrections to keep business processes running.
• Manage the functional layout of Business Central and LS Retail and implement configuration changes.
• Support releases, tests and deployments.
• Monitor data quality and identify deviations.
• Document solutions and working methods to preserve knowledge.
• Identify recurring problems and propose structural improvements or changes.
• Collaborate daily with users, key users, suppliers and colleagues within Digital Enablement.

Job description

As a Functional Application Manager Business Central, you will play a key role in the daily operations of a fast-growing international retailer. You will work with the heart of our organization: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail. You will be given a lot of freedom to propose and implement improvements and you will be part of Digital Enablement: the department that continuously makes processes, systems and data smarter.

Together with LS Retail, Business Central forms the foundation of our stores, finance, operations and warehouse. We process thousands of transactions every day. You ensure that our systems continue to function reliably and that colleagues can rely on the applications they work with.

You will handle user questions, solve disruptions and manage the functional design of Business Central and LS Retail. In doing so, you work from a clear backlog and help to set the right priorities. Not every request needs to be resolved today, but no request should disappear from view.

This is what you will do:

• You will support users of Business Central and LS Retail with functional questions, incidents and change requests.
• You manage the backlog, monitor priorities and ensure proper handling of reports.
• You analyze incidents and determine whether the cause lies in data, processes, configuration or system behavior.
• You will make temporary corrections where necessary so that business processes can continue.
• You manage the functional layout of Business Central and LS Retail and carefully implement configuration changes.
• You support releases, tests and deployments.
• You monitor the quality of data and identify deviations before they have an impact on the operation.
• You document solutions, design and working methods so that knowledge is preserved.
• You identify recurring problems and translate them into structural improvements or proposals for changes.
• You work with users, key users, suppliers and colleagues within Digital Enablement on a daily basis.
