Hef Associates in Amsterdam seeks a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance Functional Consultant to implement, configure, and optimize BC solutions for client needs. You will work with developers, project managers, and fellow consultants, applying finance, taxation and supply chain knowledge.

The role requires a Dutch-speaking specialist with English for internal collaboration and a proven track record with Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience across Finance, Project Operation, Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics.
• Experience with a Dynamics 365 partner is preferred.
• Native/fluent Dutch with strong localization knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with key users and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Document process flows and perform business process analysis.
• Configure and support data migration for Dutch-speaking users.
• Guide testing, CRP sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Deliver training and post-go-live support, including issue resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers and other consultants in finance, commerce and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshops with key users and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements.
• Conduct business process analysis and document process flows.
• Configure and support data migration, ensuring smooth adoption by Dutch-speaking users.
• Facilitate testing and CRP sessions, guiding users through validation activities.
• Deliver training and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Support cutover planning, final data migration, and go-live execution.
• Provide hypercare and post-go-live support, including issue resolution.
• Develop process documentation and work instructions in Dutch.
• Manage and coordinate change requests and small enhancements with internal teams/partners.

What We're Looking For

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central across multiple modules (Finance, Project Operation, Manufacturing, Trade & Logistics, etc.).
• Experience working with a D365 partner.
• Native/fluent Dutch with strong knowledge of Dutch localization.
• Proficiency in English for internal collaboration.
• Nice to have: Experience with Continia, idyn, or similar add-ons.

Collaboration & Languages

• Collaborate closely with internal lead consultants (English-speaking).
• Fluency in Dutch (end users) and English (internal collaboration) is mandatory.
