Job summary

Plukon Food Group is seeking a Functional Application Manager from our Wezep headquarters to manage, optimize and develop key applications across the agricultural supply chain, including PoultrySoft, Plukonnect, SmartWE and an ERP system under development.

You will link users, business and IT, ensure system stability and future-proofing, test releases, create user guides, and help drive international expansion across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, IT or related field.
• Fluent in English; good command of Dutch, German, Spanish, French or Polish.
• Analytical, communicative and customer-focused with ability to support users and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve applications such as PoultrySoft, Plukonnect, SmartWE and future ERP solutions, ensuring they support business processes.
• Act as primary contact for complex functional issues; analyze root causes with users and vendors to find solutions.
• Collaborate with key users, software suppliers and IT partners to implement new functionalities and system improvements.
• Test new releases and updates; create test scenarios and ensure quality and continuity of applications.
• Develop and maintain user guides, work instructions and documentation to support system adoption.

As a Functional Application Manager from our headquarter in Wezep, you are responsible for managing, optimizing and further developing business-critical applications within our agricultural supply chain. You will work with systems such as PoultrySoft, Plukonnect, SmartWE and a new ERP system currently under development. Acting as the link between users, the business and IT, you ensure our applications continue to support the organization effectively. What You’ll Do

As a Functional Application Manager, you play a key role within Plukon Agri. You ensure our applications remain stable, user-friendly and future-proof. You will support users, analyse issues and collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to implement improvements. This role offers plenty of opportunities to optimize processes and further professionalize functional application management.

• You manage and improve applications such as PoultrySoft, Plukonnect, SmartWE and future ERP solutions, ensuring they support business processes effectively;
• You act as the primary contact for complex functional issues, analyse root causes and work with users and software vendors to find suitable solutions;
• You collaborate closely with key users, software suppliers and IT partners to implement new functionalities, system improvements and changes;
• You test new releases and system updates, create test scenarios and safeguard the quality and continuity of applications;
• You develop and maintain user guides, work instructions and documentation to support efficient system adoption and usage.

Who You Are

We are looking for an analytical and service-oriented professional who enjoys connecting business users and IT while continuously improving processes and applications.

• You have completed a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Information Management, Business Administration, IT or a related field. Both recent graduates and candidates with several years of experience are welcome to apply;
• You are fluent in English and have a good command of at least one of the following languages: Dutch, German, Spanish, French or Polish;
• You are analytical, communicative and customer-focused, with the ability to support users, solve functional issues and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
