Job summary

Swisscom DevOps Center Rotterdam seeks a Full-Stack Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in cloud-native development, platform automation and developer experience. A six-month internship starting 1 February 2027 offers IT equipment, flexible hours and a hybrid model.

You will build front- and back-end services, automate CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across international teams, applying your CS knowledge to real-world backend, cloud and full-stack challenges.

Qualifications

• Final-year student in HBO or university programme in Computer Science, Informatics or similar.
• Practical knowledge of TypeScript and experience with Git.
• English spoken at a good level; Netherlands-based at start of internship.

Responsibilities

• Build cloud-native front-end and back-end services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitLab automations.
• Automate platform operations and integrate security into developer workflows.
• Implement developer tooling and UX/UI improvements.
• Collaborate with international agile teams using Scrum and SAFe.
• Apply your CS knowledge to real backend, cloud and full-stack challenges.
