Job summary

Searchability is hiring a Full Stack Engineer in a remote-first setup with one or two Amsterdam office days a month. You’ll own features across the stack using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS, with a fractional CTO for guidance.

Equity awaits as the seed-stage climate tech startup scales and plans Series A. From day one you’ll ship production-grade software, integrate with carbon market infrastructure, and ensure data integrity across credits and retirements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building and running production web apps (front end and back end).
• PostgreSQL schema design and SQL experience.
• Hands-on AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good API design with testing, code review and documentation.
• Delivered features from requirement to production independently.
• Clear written and spoken English.
• Based in the Netherlands with the right to work here.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the platform across React and Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript APIs, PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Turn product requirements into technical specs with the Product Manager, then build, test and ship them.
• Design and document secure, well-structured REST APIs for front end and partners.
• Build integrations with carbon market infrastructure and payment providers.
• Keep registry data accurate and auditable across issuances and retirements.
• Oversee CI/CD, monitoring, backups and access control.
